This picture was taken with my 1960(something) Yashica 24 medium format camera.  The film was long expired by 6 or so years so many of the photos didn't turn out, but you can check out a couple of other good ones in the "Photography" section.  I will be putting more photos as I get them developed and scanned.  I just bought a Holga CFN, which is essentially a toy camera, so I've been taking shots left and right.  Keep checking in for more photos from my Fisheye, ActionSampler, Holga, PocketCam, Yashica, and of Course my Canon 20D and Canon 35mm!!

Mogi's Birthday 4-12-08

 

Well, we decided to be super cheesy and have a birthday party for the Mogster.  We started off the morning by taking a hike to Horsetail Falls in Columbia River Gorge (see pics below).  Then we had a weenie roast with some buddies in the backyard, and concluded the night with pinata!  Fun was had by all!

April Update

 

Besides all the rain, snow, and hail…April has been a pretty good month so far.  Our lovely friend Nikki made the trek from Bellingham over spring break.  It was an awesome weekend full nachos, brew, records, and doughnuts.

We went to the opening game of the Portland Beavers (GO BEAVERS!) at PGE Park…it was a bit cold but they played a great game and won.

Kendra was excited to accept an offer from a great elementary school and will be working there until the end of the school year.

Easter!

 

The weekend was a blast, I went with mom and sis to Mama Mia!, so fun!  And of course ham and potatoes are always good.  Here are a few photos of Easter, well, actually just precious Claire.  Her Easter dress looked so cute on her.

March 16, 2008 - Trip to the Ocean

We took a Sunday drive out to the beach, braving the Pacific Northwest spring.  Played on the beaches at Canon Beach, had lunch in Seaside (mmm...chowder and beer bread), drove on the beach from Gearheart to Fort Stevens, walked through a shipwreck and then drove home.
